The address
Mijas spans three very different worlds in one municipality. Mijas Pueblo is a postcard-white hillside village at 400 metres altitude with panoramic views down to the sea. Below it, La Cala de Mijas has grown from sleepy fishing core into the coast's most family-friendly beach town, with a long promenade, an Open Mijas Golf complex of three courses, and one of the largest international school clusters on the coast. Further east, Calahonda and Riviera del Sol are established 1980s urbanisations with direct beach access and the best entry-level pricing of any coastal address between Málaga and Marbella. Mijas is where first-time Costa del Sol buyers land — and where many never leave.
