- Non-Lucrative Visa (NLV) — €32,000+/year passive income per applicant + 25% per dependant. Cannot work for Spanish employers. Most retirees use this.
- Digital Nomad Visa — for UK employees and freelancers with foreign clients. €2,762/month minimum. Optional 24% Beckham tax flat rate.
- Work visa — sponsored by a Spanish employer. Hard but possible in tech and hospitality.
- Family reunification — spouse/civil partner of a Spanish or EU national resident.
