Best beach clubs in Marbella
Marbella has roughly 15 beach clubs that meaningfully matter. They are not interchangeable — each occupies a specific niche on the spectrum between residents' lunch club and full-volume party. The 2026 lineup includes a handful that have been the answer for thirty years (Marbella Club, Trocadero Playa, La Cabane), and a wave of newer arrivals that have changed the mid-market (Sala Beach, La Sala by the Sea, Coco Beach).
This is the honest hierarchy.
Residents' lunch clubs
Marbella Club Beach Club is the original — Hohenlohe-era Andalusian elegance, families, no music after 5pm. Trocadero Playa on Marbella East: pine forest, calm sand, the best paella on the coast. La Cabane (Los Monteros): residents-only feel, exceptional service, members-driven. Trocadero Sotogrande (New Golden Mile): the Estepona-side answer.
Day-into-evening
Puente Romano Beach Club: Six Senses adjacent, families until 6pm and a smoother adult crowd after. Sala Beach (Puerto Banús): the Manchester-original Sala team's beach iteration — strongest mid-market table sales on the coast. Coco Beach (Marbella East): newer, design-led, growing fast. Ocean Club (Puerto Banús): legacy address; champagne spray vibe in season.
Full volume
Nikki Beach (Hacienda Las Chapas): the seasonal flagship — May to October, international DJs, model-and-bottle economics. Opium Marbella: more nightclub than beach club, central Marbella town. La Sala by the Sea (Estepona): bigger, brighter, more accessible than Sala Beach.
